Synth based, with a very strong unrelenting pulse, it's a slow burner with a determined, unshifting focus that grows in dramatic tension to include a techno beat and ostinato strings. Nothing fancy like a chord progression here, just an arrow like, eyes forward approach to reaching its goal.

Starting gently with strings and horns, it gives an impression of mellow reflection which soon turns more sinister with the introduction of bolder brass and timpani. It turns once again, with solo violin making a yearning, mournful appearance over string ostinato before becoming more rock styled through a prominent electric bass line and percussive beat. With the suspense and intensity building, the string melody becomes dominant, spearheading the epic final assault and resulting in a piece that delivers drama, mystery and contrast.

A sense of the bizarre mixed with battle drum percussion, you have fast, chaotic woodwinds interjecting with off beat brass stabs and a prominent choir echoing and mirroring the main themes. A strong military feel, with a mix of gothic darkness and mischeivous endeavour in a cinematic package.

Intense electronica with a real pump to give it a strong industrial edge. Pulsating bass and gritty synth set the tone, with the odd quirky dissonance thrown in to unsettle you and generate a darker atmosphere. Add in the hard hitting beat, distorted guitar riffs and digitised synth textures and you've got a full-on track that packs a dramatic punch with a brooding, action based epicness enveloping it.

Inventive and raw ambient track. With a metronomical rhythm created from organic and percussive tones enhanced by mechanical sounds, a sense of tonality comes from the minimalist piano adding the slightest of bass feels and harmony. Somber and pensive in atmosphere, with a lulling calmness in amongst the tension, as the title suggests, time ticks on, and the piece reflects a hypnotic and hollow sounding illusion of an ever present constant. Intriguingly captivating for what is essentially a soundscape.

With a strong gamelan influence, it certainly has an ethnic feel to it, but mixed with a cinematic piano releasing deep overtones and soaked in reverb it takes on a more modern feel. Light, gentle and calming, with a sense of tension and suspense, it is rhythmically steady and continuously moving forward.
