Interesting to the point of experimentation due to the dissonances and jerky rhythms, it is inherently a classically inspired composition with 20th Century music influences. A sense of the bizarre mixed with battle drum percussion, you have fast, chaotic woodwinds interjecting with off beat brass stabs and a prominent choir echoing and mirroring the main themes. A strong military feel, with a mix of gothic darkness and mischeivous endeavour in a cinematic package.

Hitting the listener with diverse rhythms and playing styles from all angles, from off-beat choral chants to random instruments stabs and percussive hits, it creates an unsettling and jarring effect throughout. An underlying double bass line unerringly marches on to give a stable bed to the devilishly playful madness going on above, creating an uneasy and threatening hostility that never relents. High energy tension for the slightly deranged.

It remains a huge orchestral event, full of brass braams, powerful drums and rich strings, but there's always a sense of yearning in the chord progressions and themes, making for very distinct and specific trailer music.

Starting with an Aboriginal flavour for a sense of vast, faraway lands, it's soon transformed into an epic orchestral piece, full of drama and tension through percussive hits, brass swells and string ostinato. Grand and majestic with an adventurous, action filled undertone, it also hits the inspirational and awesome buttons.

A tense action epic. The title may be a bit misleading if you're expecting the classic John Williams score, but there's certainly dramatic tension and plenty of big screen atmosphere. Accentuated off-beat rhythms using percussion and strings, raspy brass swells and enhancing woodwinds all contribute to an edgy, pointed piece with a dark and sinister side.

Always serene, with almost cinematic qualities, it brings out an inner reflection to a wider expanse.
