Futuristic and apocalyptic track. After starting with a pulsing, time-ticking build up to generate tension and a suffocating intensity, the pounding industrial percussion, screaming synth leads and grinding sub bass are let loose to fry your brain. Staggered and disruptive throughout but somehow generating an underlying rhythmic stability, it's certainly an effect rather than a melody.

A short, spooky horror theme with a vintage, lo-fi feel to evoke those darkest of unwanted memories from times best forgotten. Hollow and brittle, but hypnotically repetitive, there are small subtleties to lift it - detuned instruments, dropouts, jagged string stabs and pizzicato - with a near constant deep brooding bass to rumble your bones. An edgy and mysterious, fast moving track that works great as a tension builder or scene setter.

Unsettling soundscape of distorted bass swells, clean guitar and textures. An underlying percussive rhythm section attempts to ground the piece in a lounge jazz style, but is never allowed to dominate due to the interjecting effects - some natural, some synthesized. A tense and exploratory piece with dark overtones.

Orchestral carnival theme with a sense of the macabre. Very animated, with all the instruments of the orchestra featured for a dynamic and at times, deliberately hectic and manic feel, it captures both the fun, comical side of the circus with the darker, more horror themed associations we've come to see on the big screen. Hauntingly enjoyable.

Soothing but mysterious orchestral track. Arpeggiated piano and strings start classically, but a theremin lead takes things to an unexpected level of mystical contrast. Elegance and majesty is constant due to the warm orchestration throughout, with a deliberate unease and suspense created by the unusual instrumentation and melodies.

On the one hand, this is a deep, soul searching soundscape of profound, inner vibrations - an electronic soup of slowly evolving tones, drones and unresolved mutations that leads you to mysterious places and intriguing discovery, safe in the knowledge that at this pace, you'll have the time to fall into it's myriad hypnotic states. On the other hand, it's the soundtrack to your worst, most isolated horror nightmares and the darkest, creepiest underworld you never want to visit. The choice is yours - it's just a question of context.

Hectic and chaotic cinematic orchestral track. Hitting the listener with diverse rhythms and playing styles from all angles, from off-beat choral chants to random instruments stabs and percussive hits, it creates an unsettling and jarring effect throughout. An underlying double bass line unerringly marches on to give a stable bed to the devilishly playful madness going on above, creating an uneasy and threatening hostility that never relents. High energy tension for the slightly deranged.

Orchestral fantasy track. Opening with a dramatic sequence of string ostinato and female vocal aahs, and building in intenstity through legato strings, rhythmic percussion and stabbing brass, the mood changes to a softer, magical mid-section of vocals and sweeping strings, sprinkled with harp runs and chimes. The action soon returns with more beating taiko rhythm and full orchestra to the climax of a piece that suggests epic drama, action, mystery and heroism.  

Sometimes it's the innocent simplicity that hides the darkest terrors. With a menacing detuned piano theme penetrating your brain over a backdrop of atmospheric vinyl crackle, string swarms and percussive metal hits, this horror trailer track has the brooding sense of witnessing something you really don't want to see. Very dark, very atmospheric, and very horror.

Dark, enchanted orchestral theme. Slightly exotic melodies and off beat rhythms create unease and a sense of the bizarre, all to a backdrop of tribal percussion. Choral wails and brass stabs interrupt the flow to further unsettle things and fast string themes impose the aggression in this mid tempo piece of symphonic tension. Creating a disturbing intensity with aggressive sirens and impacts, they give way to a softer, more psychological tension of synth melody and dark textures in this steady paced, truly atmospheric soundscape full of background subtlety and effects.

An uncomplicated yet profound piece of meditational soundscape that's equally at home as a thought-provoking, new age track as it is the background to a disturbing psychological scene, such is the potential for intrigue and tension in such a minimalist, dark electronic piece. The 285 Hz frequency targets your energy field and supposedly helps in the fast healing of burns, fractures, sprains and cuts - somewhat ironic if it ends up in the soundtrack to a psycho-gore flick.

The constant, steady movement helps the piece flow forward, but it('s not until the final section that all the elements combine for the full effect of rich, mysterious and brooding tension. A slow burner, created purely for mood.

High energy horror with a powerful Hollywood sound. An edgy orchestral track featuring manic, fast paced violins and brass stabs, complemented by whirling woodwinds. Unsettling in its build up, it cuts to a pause in order to regenerate the mood once again with the nervous strings, adding a stronger, disorienting off-beat feel. Lots of foreboding tension, especially helped by a constant military snare, and an overall sinister mood make this perfect for dramatic action scenes with a darker ambience.

Spooky, skeletal track with a captivating atmosphere. Stripped to the bare bones, it's quite minimal, but uses the space to great effect, allowing the darkness to weave through the gaps. All the creepiest instruments are there: music box, glockenspiel, echoing percussion ... all leading and accompanying the playful strings, ghostly piano, lurking bassoon and carnival accordion for an unnerving experience of delicate, haunting beauty. Chills.
