Late 70s/early 80s style space rock - big guitars and synth backing - gets modern synth risers and sweeps added to create a contrast of old versus new. A melodic rock song mixing heavily distorted guitar with indie pop vocals. Lots of fuzz and feedback give an over the top, chaotic feel to the track while the pounding drums keep it grounded. A strong military feel, with a mix of gothic darkness and mischeivous endeavour in a cinematic package.

Essentially a drum n bass sandwich, it has a filling of high energy piano and synth-led chords and leads over a manic beat, garnished with effects, filters and envelopes. The bread in this case is an altogether smoother, Latin jazz based groove with a retro feel and warm vintage keyboard tones. Slightly eclectic, but positive and hard hitting. Buen provecho!

Lots of synth stabs, arps and leads, off beat accents and the occasional breakdown to keep things varied, it's a relentless piece that's as curious as it is energetic. If 8 bit computer game music married EDM, this could well be the result.
